Time Trial: The Race Against Time
A discipline of the UCI Road World Championships, the time trial comes in two formats, each offering a different take on performance: the individual time trial, where each rider takes on the course and the clock alone, and the mixed relay team time trial, where men and women combine their strength to represent their nation.

Cycling along the shores of Lake Annecy, in the heart of one of Haute-Savoie’s most iconic landscapes: this is what awaits riders from around the world as they compete for the rainbow jersey.
From Sévrier to Doussard, passing through Saint-Jorioz and Duingt, then tackling the Côte de Talloires (1.5 km at 6.5%) before heading back to Annecy via Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Veyrier-du-Lac, the course offers a perfect snapshot of the richness of the region.
A legendary route that spectators will also be able to ride outside the competition, following the Tour du Lac cycle path, and discover Annecy and its surrounding area.
